YAY it’s that time of year again!!! EarlyEd is participating in the ALIA National Simultaneous Storytime to be held on

12:00pm to 12:30pm

This year the book we will be reading is Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson, Adrian Lloyd, Jake A Minton. 

“Rookie captain LUNA ROO leaves nothing on the pitch as she leads FC Outback in a thrilling face off against BUSH UNITED”.  

Luna Roo is one of the youngest players on the team, and being captain feels like a big job. She starts to doubt herself, makes a few mistakes, and feels her confidence slip. 

At halftime, Luna feels upset—but she takes a deep breath, stays strong, and cheers on her team. Together, they find their confidence again and go back out ready to try their best. 

Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller uses playful, rhythmic rhyming text that’s fun to listen to and reading aloud together. Little ones who love sport will enjoy the relatable, energetic theme that keeps them engaged from start to finish. 

The text features varying sizes and styles to highlight important moments, helping to capture children’s attention and support early learning while making story time exciting for both kids and parents. 

The story brings a positive message of not giving up, believing in yourself and working as a team.
