Information about Coronavirus

The World Health Organisation has declared the Coronavirus (also called COVID-19) a pandemic, which means it is widespread across the world and will most likely impact people in all countries.

How can you help prevent the spread?

Hand hygiene and sneeze/cough hygiene

Practising good hand and sneeze/cough hygiene is the best defence against most viruses.

As mentioned above, during this pandemic people should change the way they greet people and we should not be shaking hands as a form of greeting.

How EarlyEd has been preparing?

EarlyEd has been planning they best way we can support families during this pandemic. EarlyEd has been checking daily for updates about Coronavirus from the Australian Government’s Department of Health and xxx. This has been useful for providing staff and customers with information. EarlyEd is keeping in touch and working with the Government departments that are managing this situation.

Will all EarlyEd’s services be maintained?

Social distancing is an important part of the health strategy to slow the community spread of COVID-19. To give effect to the social distancing requirements, EarlyEd has made the decision to temporarily close some services.

The following EarlyEd services will be temporarily closed:

  • Cubby House Toy Library from xx March 2020
  • School Holiday groups from xx March 2020
  • Parent training from xx March 2020
  • Xxx from xx March 2020
  • Xxxx from xx March 2020

 

EarlyEd is considering option to keep services available to families during this period. Communication will be distributed as soon as possible.
