Talkability® – online Speech Pathology Program designed for parents of children 

– who are verbal  

– ages 4–8 yrs 

– with Autism Spectrum Disorder or social communication difficulties. 

This program will help you learn practical strategies to support your child to develop their conversational and social skills, and build friendships. Making friends can happen in everyday social situations. This is why parents are the ideal people to support their children in those moments.  

 A small online group program with parents who have similar concerns about their child’s communication skills, Talkability® is run by an EarlyEd Hanen® certified speech pathologist.

The cost of this program can be covered using NDIS funding. 

DETAILS:
The program consists of: 

• 9 online parent training sessions. 
• 1 Individual pre-program online consultation to get to know you and your child. 
• 3 individual online video feedback sessions for you and your child. 

DATES:  

              12 August – 11 November  

• 9 online parent training sessions:  

              Saturdays 9:30am–12:00pm 

• 4 individual sessions to be organised separately starting the week of 31 July.

This program can be covered by your child’s NDIS funding under 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 – 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴. Alternatively, some costs may be subsidised using private health insurance or Medicare.
