My Possum plays the drums is a delightful book filled with rhythm and repetitive language that supports early language development.

The book invites the reader to join in on the fun while the possum takes us on a musical adventure. The sounds and actions described throughout the book encourages participation such as clapping, tapping or drumming. The book uses familiar and relatable words in a playful way helping children to expand their vocabulary. These words imitate sounds like bang, hiss and scratch which children can incorporate into their play.
